Responsible Drinking

Cervecería Nacional Dominicana takes a lead role when it comes to promote a responsible drinking behavior. The company develops a platform that promotes moderation and responsibility towards alcohol consumption. This platform includes a campaign that informs bars, clubs and liquor stores owners about the risks of alcohol consumption by underage people, and how they can contribute to the legal regulation by having a conscious and responsible behavior in their commercial duties. Cervecería Nacional Dominicana promotes its new responsible drinking campaign, titled Friends take care of Friends. This new initiative promotes moderation in alcohol drinking by using cool messages that encourage young people to take a responsible and conscious role during situations and activities that contemplate alcohol consumption.

Protecting our Natural Resources

Dominican Republic is known for the beauty and abundance of its natural resources that attract tourists worldwide. Cervecería Nacional Dominicana has developed several programs that work to protect the environment while simultaneously communicating the depth and wealth of the country’s natural treasures. The Reforestation and Water Sources Protection Program provides farmers with technical counsel as well as financial support and volunteers to develop forestry programs.

Cervecería Nacional Dominicana initiated “Dominicana Verde”, or “Green Dominican”, a documentary that reveals the most emblematic ecological riches in the Dominican Republic, while promoting sustainable environmental initiatives developed by local foresters.

All of the aforementioned initiatives are part of the company’s environmental platform, “Protégé lo mejor de lo nuestro”, and together work to preserve our environment and natural resources.

Honoring the Best of the Best in Entertainment and Sports

Every year, actors, musicians, dancers, producers, choreographers, theater and film directors, and TV hosts gather for the most anticipated industry awards show in the Dominican Republic: The Casandra Awards. Cervecería Nacional Dominicana teams up with ACROARTE (Arts and Entertainment Press Association) to celebrate this very special event. Recognized as the greatest tribute to the entertainment industry in the country, this show is broadcast nationally and internationally.

Moreover, Cervecería Nacional Dominicana, together with the Dominican Olympic Committee, salutes the nation’s top athletes at The Olympic Gala, a special awards event dedicated to that year’s top local athletes. The company is also active in honoring exceptional Dominican athletes through its association with Sports Press Associations from Santo Domingo and Santiago.
